Diamond Bar B Jewels was started out of a hobby of making jewelry for myself.  I love jewelry. I always have since I was a little girl. I have been making jewelry for about 2 years now, and in December 2009, decided to turn my hobby into a business. I named the business Diamond Bar B after my cattle brand.  

A little about me!!! I am a 2006 graduate of McNeese State University. I received my teaching certification from Louisiana College in 2007. I have been a special education teacher since August of 2006. I teach children with emotional and behavior disorders. I grew up on a farm and ranch. We raised cattle, horses, and also grew and sold hay. We have raised cattle and horses all of my life. I was competitive in rodeo's starting at age 2 and I haven't been a competitor since 2004.I competed in Barrel Racing, Pole  Bending, Goat Tying, Break-A-Way Roping, and Team Roping. I was active in 4-H, NLBRA, NHSRA, and LHSRA. I was also the first Beauregard Parish Fair Rodeo Queen in 1997. After High School I was an active member in CBRA, NBHA, USTRA and DRC. Along with being a teacher and former rodeo queen, I am also a Mom to 3 wonderful children. We still have a farm where we raise rabbits and chickens.
